JUST IN: USS McCain Struck, 10 Sailors Down, Look Who Did It

Guided-missile destroyer USS John S. McCain collided with a merchant vessel near Singapore on Sunday, according to the U.S. Navy.
Five sailors are injured and search and rescue efforts are under way for ten missing sailors.
The ship is based in Yokosuka, Japan.
This latest crash is just three months after the USS Fitzgerald had a similar collision off the coast of Japan. Seven sailors were killed in that incident, and the top three leaders were relieved of their command in August.
The USS John S. McCain sailed past China’s controversial man-made islands in the South China Sea earlier in August, a move which China condemned.
This is a breaking story. Stay tuned for more updates as we find out more about the merchant vessel.
Share this out to keep the sailors in your prayers.
